INTRODUCTION

Under The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Wales) (Amendment) Order 2016 Part 1A Section 2B and subject to The Planning Applications (Temporary Modifications and Disapplication) (Wales) (Coronavirus) Order 2020,  those proposing major development are required to consult with members of the public and community and statutory bodies prior to submitting their planning application to the Local Planning Authority.

This website provides details of the proposed development of the Tax Office Site at Ty Glas, Llanishen, Cardiff for a mixed-use scheme including housing, retirement apartments, a care home facility, employment uses and floorspace that could accommodate a doctors surgery, dentist or nursery. Cannon Capital Developments Limited (Cannon) intend on submitting an outline planning application for this development following this pre application consultation period. You are invited to make comments to the Cannon project team for us to consider before we submit the planning application.

It is important to note that this exercise is entirely separate from the statutory consultation that Cardiff Council will conduct once the applications have been submitted.

Submitting comments to this consultation process will not preclude you from making future comments to Cardiff Council as part of their separate statutory consultation exercise.

HOW TO COMMENT

The 28-day statutory pre-application consultation has now ended and we are carefully considering all the comments received. This will set out all the comments that we have received and what changes have been made to the proposed development and/or application documents in response.
